Wedding Photographer & Filmmaker · Fort Bragg, California
Cinematic films and editorial photography for weddings.
Hi. I'm Tex.
I'm a North Coast filmmaker and photographer, voted Humboldt County's Best. Wedding photography and film in Fort Bragg is one of the things this studio does most, full-day photo and film coverage with FAA Part 107 drone aerial, delivered together so couples have one storyteller across every frame of the day.
My job is to make you, your families, and your guests feel completely comfortable so the day stays the day, not a photo shoot. No stiff poses. No staged-looking smiles. Just real, intentional, cinematic coverage of how the day actually unfolds in Fort Bragg and across Mendocino County.
Now booking 2027 weddings in Fort Bragg.
A note from Fort Bragg
Cinematic wedding films and editorial photography in Fort Bragg, California. Glass Beach ceremonies, Pomo Bluffs sea cliffs, Noyo Harbor receptions, and the northern Mendocino coast's working-coastal wedding aesthetic.
The Approach
The Fort Bragg venue
Fort Bragg weddings play against an entirely different Mendocino coast than the polished Mendocino village 10 miles south. Glass Beach's sea-glass shore, Noyo's working harbor, Pomo Bluffs' dramatic sea cliffs, and a more accessible price point. Bay Area destination couples choose Fort Bragg for the Pacific-coastal wedding without the Mendocino-village premium.
The Fort Bragg day
On a Fort Bragg day we usually open at Glass Beach, when the low sun puts color in the sea glass and the surf is doing something. Then up to the Pomo Bluffs for the ceremony, which is a short walk, not a hike, so the dress stays clean. One person keeps an eye on the marine layer the whole time. The drone goes up over the water once the sky and the airspace both clear. Photo and film come back together.
The Mendocino County scouting advantage
A venue tour shows you the room. It doesn't show you that the Pomo Bluffs catch wind off the Pacific most afternoons, or that Noyo Harbor sits in shade earlier than the cliffs above it. We've stood on that bridge at golden hour and watched the boats come in. We know which spot holds light and which hour to be there. That's the part you can't book sight unseen.
2027 Weddings, Fort Bragg
Saturdays in Fort Bragg fill first, venue holds, planner timelines, and golden-hour ceremony windows all stack on the same dates. Couples planning a year+ out get the cleanest weekends and the best honeymoon scheduling. Reserve early.

The Editing Process
A wedding film isn't shot in a day, it's made over months. Hours of raw cinema footage, multi-camera audio, drone aerial, and second-shooter coverage get assembled, color-graded, and scored frame by frame in the edit suite.
Every transition is intentional. Every cut earns its keep. The goal is a film couples actually want to re-watch, not a montage of clips. That kind of editorial discipline is the difference between a wedding film and a wedding highlight reel, and it's why these turnarounds run weeks instead of days.
