David & Monica's Wedding Documentary, 35 Years Before They Met, His Dad Saved Her Dad's Life
Feature-length wedding documentary
Weddings. Northern Arizona & Humboldt County
Cinematic films and editorial photography for weddings.
Cinematic wedding films and editorial wedding photography across Northern Arizona and California's North Coast, red rock ceremonies in Sedona, granite-and-water vows at the Dells, ranch weddings out toward Chino Valley, and redwood-canopy ceremonies and coastal vows back in Humboldt and Mendocino. Full photo and film coverage with FAA Part 107 drone aerials. Voted Humboldt County's Best Filmmaker.
The Approach
Every wedding I shoot starts with a planning conversation. I want to know who you are, what your day looks like, and what you'll want to feel when you watch the film 10 years from now. That conversation shapes everything that follows.
On the day, I'm working in the background, capturing the toast, the look, the dance, the redwood-canopy first kiss, without making it a performance. Editorial photography. Cinematic motion picture. Drone aerials when the venue calls for it. Full crew coverage so we never miss the moment.
Delivery is 6–8 weeks for a fully edited gallery and a cinematic highlight film you'll actually want to share. Print-quality files, video downloads, and a private gallery your guests can view directly.

The Editing Process
A wedding film isn't shot in a day, it's made over months. Hours of raw cinema footage, multi-camera audio, drone aerial, and second-shooter coverage get assembled, color-graded, and scored frame by frame in the edit suite.
Every transition is intentional. Every cut earns its keep. The goal is a film couples actually want to re-watch, not a montage of clips. That kind of editorial discipline is the difference between a wedding film and a wedding highlight reel, and it's why these turnarounds run weeks instead of days.

From a weddings client
“Tex was so sweet and fun to work with. He is very knowledgeable and savvy with his equipment, and made everything so comfortable for my husband and I (who both are not huge fans of getting our photo taken)! The outcome was amazing and we are so happy we went with Tex. Highly recommend!”
