Event Video Production · Prescott & Yavapai County
Conferences, galas, championships, anniversaries, and the community events that hold a town together. Filmed as a story with clips ready while people are still talking about it.
Most event video is a camera on a tripod at the back of the room. That footage gets watched once, by the person who ordered it. An event film is different. It is built for the people who were not there, and for the room you need to fill next year.
I cover events the way I cover a game. Anticipate the moment, be in position before it happens, and keep the camera moving so the energy in the room shows up on the screen. That comes from years on sidelines and a decade of making things people actually watch.
The deliverable is never just one long file. It is a recap film for the website, vertical cuts for social within days, and full recordings of the speeches for the archive. One booking, one production day, everything the organization needs from it.
Based in Prescott Valley, born and raised, and covering Prescott, Sedona, Flagstaff, and all of Yavapai County with no travel charge.
The setting changes. The job does not. Find the moments, get the audio clean, and cut it so someone who was not there understands why it mattered.
01
Keynotes, breakouts, awards dinners, and the hallway conversations that are the real reason people came. A recap film for the company and a set of vertical clips the marketing team can post the same week.
02
A 60th year in business, a retirement, a ribbon cutting. The kind of night a company gets once, filmed so the people who built it are on the record saying what it took.
03
Section finals, senior nights, rivalry games with a century of history behind them. Sideline coverage from a former college quarterback who knows where the play is going before it gets there.
04
Fundraisers, competitions, festivals, and the events that hold a town together. Films built to be shown at next year's event and to raise money in between.
05
Milestone birthdays, reunions, memorial services, and vow renewals. Small crew, quiet presence, a film the family keeps.
Weddings?
Weddings get their own page, their own process, and most of my calendar. If that is the event, start there.
Wedding films
An event is the most expensive content day most organizations ever run. The venue, the catering, the speakers, and the guests are all already paid for. The film is the only part of that spend that keeps working after the chairs are stacked.
Recap film, two to five minutes, cut to licensed music, the version that goes on the website and gets shown at next year's event.
Social cuts, vertical 15 to 60 second edits for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, delivered within days while the event is still fresh.
Speaker and program coverage, full-length recordings of keynotes, speeches, and presentations with clean, separately recorded audio.
Aerial, FAA Part 107 certified and insured drone coverage of the venue, the crowd, and the setting, where airspace allows.
Stills, event photography alongside the video, so the same day produces the gallery and the film.
Raw footage, available on a drive if the organization wants the full archive, priced into the scope.

A few of the events I have covered start to finish: a university pitch competition, a Special Olympics day, a company's sixtieth anniversary, and a rivalry game older than most of the town. Click any thumbnail to play.
University pitch competition, full event package.
Cinematic community event highlight.
A company's sixty-year milestone celebration.
One of the oldest high school football rivalries in California.
The best event coverage is the kind guests do not notice. That takes a plan, which is why the work starts a week before the doors open.
A call before the event to walk the schedule. Who speaks, when the moments happen, what the film is for afterward, and who needs clips the next morning.
Venue lighting, power, audio feed access, and where a camera can stand without being in the way. For outdoor events, a quick airspace check for the drone.
One or two operators depending on scale, cinema cameras, wireless audio tied into the house feed where there is one. I stay mobile and out of the guests' way.
Social clips land within days. The full recap film follows once the edit, color, and sound mix are done properly.
Event coverage is scoped per event. Hours on site, number of operators, speaker recordings, and how many social cuts you need all set the number, and you have it in writing before the date is held.
