A steel fence along a planted walkway built by Deep Roots in Humboldt County

Case Study

Deep Roots. A new brand, built to be found.

A landscape and fence company in Humboldt and Del Norte County needed a site worthy of its design and public works jobs. I built it from a blank page.

The Brief

Same crew. A name for the bigger jobs.

Deep Roots is the landscape design and fence installation company from the team behind Your Local Mow Man in Eureka. They are C-13 licensed, #1079969, and they work from backyards all the way up to public works contracts.

Lawn care already had a home. The design work, the fence installs, and the commercial jobs needed their own. So this one wasn't a rebuild. There was no old site to fix, just a new name and a lot of real work that deserved to be shown properly.

The site went live on August 23, 2026.

The Result

A perfect 100, on a phone.

How It Was Built

More than 230 pages, each one written for somebody.

No WordPress and no page builder. It is hand-coded, so nothing loads that doesn't need to. The size comes from being specific. A homeowner in Fortuna looking for a fence should land on a page about fences in Fortuna.

  • A page for every service in every town

Eight services, eighteen towns, two counties. Each pairing gets its own page with its own title and the honest answer on whether the estimate is free there.

  • The estimate form comes first

The free estimate form sits beside the headline on the homepage, so nobody has to scroll or hunt to ask for a quote.

  • Every request reaches a person

A request goes straight into their CRM and the customer gets a text back, so a lead is never sitting in an inbox waiting to be noticed.

  • Checked on every publish

Each time the site goes out it is checked for broken links, missing image descriptions, duplicate titles, and pages that read too much alike. If anything fails, it doesn't publish.

See It Live

A few pages worth a look.

The best way to judge a site is to use it. These are the pages that carry the most weight for Deep Roots.
