NAU Senior and Graduation Photos in Flagstaff

Finishing at NAU is a real milestone, and Flagstaff gives you backdrops most college towns can’t, campus, pines, and the San Francisco Peaks all in one place. Here’s how to get graduation photos that are worth keeping.

Where to shoot on and around campus

• Old Main and the quad. The classic NAU shot. The brick and the lawn read as “I graduated here.”
• Around the Peaks. Just outside town, the San Francisco Peaks give you a true mountain backdrop that says Flagstaff in one frame.
• Aspen Corner and the pines. Green in summer, gold in October, for a session that doesn’t look like everyone else’s campus photos.
• Historic downtown and Route 66 for brick, neon, and a little character with the cap and gown.

A two-location session lets you pair campus with one of the natural spots, so you get the “I went here” photo and the “look where I went to school” photo in one shoot.

When to book

Graduation season packs the calendar, and so does fall, when the aspens turn. If you want your gown photos before the ceremony, or fall color in the background, book a few weeks ahead. Reach out with your graduation date and we’ll lock a time that works.
